Managed IT Services Oklahoma City

Recurring, accountable IT — not break-fix. Monitoring, help desk, security, and backups from a team that already knows your environment.

Managed IT services in Oklahoma City should not feel like you hired a call center. Your Favorite IT Guy handles day-to-day technology so you can run the business — computers, networks, cybersecurity, backups, vendor coordination, and Microsoft 365 management when you need it.

This is different from general “IT support” you call only after something breaks. Managed IT is a monthly relationship: we watch systems, patch them, answer tickets, and plan ahead. Break-fix waits for the fire.

We are based in Oklahoma City and support businesses nationwide — dental practices, healthcare offices, professional firms, construction companies, and growing teams that have outgrown “call the guy when something breaks.”

What happens next

Book a consultation on our calendar, or call and tell us what is breaking (or worrying you). We will listen, ask a few practical questions, and outline sensible next steps — no pressure pitch.

Who this is for (ideal client)

Ideal clients want a named relationship, not a ticket number. You have more than a handful of computers, care about uptime during business hours, and prefer a predictable monthly amount over emergency invoices.

Co-managed IT is available if you already have someone in-house and need after-hours coverage, security depth, or a second brain for Microsoft 365 and vendors.

We are probably not the right fit if you only want the cheapest break-fix hour, or if you need a 200-seat enterprise PMO. We would rather say that up front.

What a managed IT company actually does · Managed IT vs break-fix IT

What does a managed IT provider do?

A managed IT company is not a one-time computer repair shop. We watch your systems, keep them patched, answer when something fails, and plan the next hardware or cloud move before it becomes an emergency.

In practice that means: monitoring workstations and servers, managing user accounts, coordinating internet and software vendors, backing up the data you cannot afford to lose, and tightening security so a phishing email is less likely to take the office down for a week.

What is included in YFITG managed IT

Core plans cover proactive monitoring, help desk support from real technicians, patching, user and device management, and visibility into routers, firewalls, and switches. Higher tiers add faster response, more automated fixes, backup alerting, and quarterly planning conversations — not a 40-page report nobody reads.

We also manage networks, computers, and servers. Need a new workstation, a firewall change, or a vendor who will not call you back? That is part of the job. Microsoft 365 management (email, Teams, SharePoint, security settings) is available as a separate service — it is not bundled into the per-computer price, so you are not paying for licenses you already buy elsewhere.

Cybersecurity is not a slogan on this page. Endpoint protection, multi-factor authentication, email filtering, and monitored backups sit alongside the help desk. HIPAA-focused add-ons exist for dental and healthcare environments that need documented safeguards, not a checkbox PDF.

Onboarding and what drives price

Onboarding starts with discovery: devices, servers, Microsoft 365 posture, backups, and the messiest risks. We prioritize fixes so you are not boiling the ocean in week one.

YFITG prices managed IT per computer, per month. Essentials IT starts at $95. Managed IT is $150. Managed IT Complete is $195. Onboarding is a one-time fee of $50 per computer. Add-ons are optional: Security & Compliance Management at $40 per user (minimum 5 users), mobile security at $20 per device, printer management at $25 per printer, server management at $250 per server.

Price drivers: device count, servers, locations, HIPAA documentation needs, and how inconsistent the current environment is. Microsoft 365 licensing is billed separately. Large projects are quoted separately from the monthly plan.

Staffed hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Most clients hear back within the hour during business hours; managed clients get priority.

Problems managed IT actually solves

The usual story we hear: the last provider took two days to call back, backups had not been tested in months, nobody owned the firewall, and Microsoft 365 “just kind of happened.” Meanwhile the office loses an hour every time a password or printer job goes sideways.

Managed IT services Oklahoma City businesses hire us for tend to cluster around four things — less unplanned downtime, clearer security (MFA, email, endpoints), one team that knows the network, and a grown-up plan for servers and backups. For a dental group we documented how standardization, monitoring, and HIPAA safeguards cut the chaos across multiple offices. Names stay anonymized; the work is real.

How quickly can you get support?

Most clients hear back within the hour during business hours. Managed IT clients get priority. Critical issues escalate to a person — not a bot that asks you to reboot while patients are in the chair.

A lot of issues close remotely. When they cannot, we do on-site work across the OKC metro, including Edmond, Norman, Moore, and Yukon. Remote-first is faster; on-site is available when the hardware actually needs hands.

What makes this different from a typical MSP

We speak human. You will not get a 12-page change request to reset a mailbox. Andrew Wetmore built Your Favorite IT Guy so business owners could call someone who already knows the environment.

No call-center shuffle. Technicians learn your network, your imaging or line-of-business apps, and your hours. Multi-location organizations get one standard instead of a different “IT guy” at every address. We coordinate vendors so you are not stuck in the middle of “that is a software problem” versus “that is a network problem.”

Why businesses switch to YFITG

Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, networks, backups, and multiple locations

Yes — we support Microsoft 365: tenant hygiene, migrations, user management, Teams, SharePoint, and security baselines. Licensing stays separate from managed IT packages.

Yes — we manage cybersecurity operations at a practical small-business level: MFA, email security, endpoint protection, and backup monitoring aimed at ransomware recovery, not fear marketing.

Yes — networks, computers, servers, and vendor wrangling are in scope. Yes — we support businesses with multiple locations. If you are opening a second office or inherited three different setups from an acquisition, that is a planning conversation, not a surprise weekend project.

Oklahoma City MSP, statewide and nationwide support

We are an Oklahoma City MSP by home base, not a national brand with a local landing page. Day-to-day work happens with OKC, Edmond, Norman, Moore, and Yukon organizations. Remote managed IT also covers clients elsewhere in Oklahoma and across the U.S. when the relationship fits.
